GSC Planner-Toledo
Onsite: This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to our Toledo location. Ohio plant on a full-time basis.

The Role
As a GSC Planner, you will be responsible for key areas within the Global Supply Chain Organization: manufacturing/ warehouse operations, supply chain systems and processes, launch execution and scheduling and material management.
You will act as a liaison between purchasing, engineering, warehousing/manufacturing, logistics and suppliers to resolve issues and to provide support.
What You’ll Do
As a Global Supply Chain Planner, you will be responsible for the following:
- Manages supply chain operations (material and production control)
- Manages supplier and production schedules
- Administers internal control audits
- Develops standardized work for office
- Administers outbound shipping control processes
- Oversees New and Major material and production control activities for GSC
- Develops and maintains material availability reports
- Help facilitate cycle counts/estimation sampling
- Coordinates Customer Care and Aftersales (CCA) requests, schedules, and fulfillment
- Develops and trains people (backfill, planning and succession)
- Meets transportation budget and minimizes the use of premium transportation
- Drives inventory reduction plans
- Works with the Program Execution Team (PET) concerning planning, scheduling and change issues
- Ensures robust processes are maintained to audit material record adjustments
- Authorizes inventory adjustments
- Replaces GSC Office Manager, as required
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
- High functional capability with supply chain material systems – MGO, EPS, PPS, etc.
- Strong understanding of supply chain and lean material processes; Logistics (LLP processes), Receiving, Internal Material Flow, Scrap, Obsolescence, etc.
- Experience with GMS SLT implementation and execution
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, effective project planning in terms of resources, strategies, cost, and time, with ability to meet project timelines
- Knowledge of basic manufacturing and assembly processes
- Flexible to work extended and non-core hours to ensure issues are worked to resolution
What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management
- Prior experience with varied Supply Chain office assignments
- Experience/knowledge of GM Global Manufacturing Systems (GMS)
- Knowledge of Continuous Improvement Process (CIP)
- Working knowledge and experience with MGO (5+ years)
- Baseline understanding of using AI tools to enhance and improve repetitive manual processes
