EV Charging Experience Analyst – GMSA
Job Description Summary
This position will lead key elements of GMSA’s regional EV charging connectivity and public-charging execution agenda, including charging-network expansion, supplier governance, public-partnership activation, and customer charging experience delivery.
The role combines business development, digital-product coordination, commercial execution, and performance management, with accountability for launch readiness, partnerships, KPI tracking, and growth of the regional charging ecosystem.
Role Mission
Drive GM South America’s EV charging ecosystem by scaling the MyChevrolet Charging platform, coordinating charging-network and eMSP/CPO partnerships, converting charging initiatives into customer growth and revenue, and supporting the region’s broader EV charging and energy expansion roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
1. Own MyChevrolet Charging business performance

Manage the business performance of the regional charging app, including user growth, charger-network growth, revenue readiness, KPI governance, and performance reporting cadence.

Translate scorecards and operating data into actions to improve adoption, monetization, customer value perception, and charging experience.

Monitor business results and continuously identify actions to improve customer engagement, app utilization, and ecosystem performance.
2. Lead app supplier and rollout governance

Coordinate supplier evaluation, nomination support, contract interfaces, rollout planning, and cross-functional implementation of the next charging-app solution for GMSA.

Support the operating model behind the app, including payment solutions, data-sharing requirements, and regional deployment logic.

Track implementation milestones, risks, and dependencies to ensure launch readiness and operational stability.
3. Develop and execute public charging partnerships

Structure and activate partnerships that expand customer access, generate leads, improve brand relevance, and strengthen the public-charging proposition for regional customers.

Manage campaigns and partnership pilots with clear commercial and customer-performance follow-up.

Support the development of scalable partnership models that contribute to long-term charging ecosystem growth.
4. Coordinate external partners and market ecosystem

Maintain active interface with CPOs, charging-service providers, app partners, agencies, and other external stakeholders to ensure offer relevance, operational readiness, and charger-network growth.

Track public-charging availability, dealer-charging visibility, and competitor benchmarks to inform decisions and executive updates.

Consolidate market insights and partner feedback into actionable recommendations for the business.
5. Support regional EV charging launches and customer experience

Build launch plans and readiness activities for Brazil first and priority regional markets after that, aligning Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Legal, Finance, and other key stakeholders.

Help define the charging experience offer, including route planning, reservations, payments, hardware and services linkage, and customer-journey integration.

Support issue resolution and process improvement initiatives to continuously enhance the customer charging experience.
6. Contribute to broader EV charging and energy ecosystem development

Support adjacent charging and energy opportunities, especially where connectivity, customer experience, charger economics, and regional partner models intersect.

Contribute to the development of new business opportunities linked to EV charging, customer services, and broader energy ecosystem initiatives.
Success Measures
Success in this role will be measured through:

Basic Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Energy, Industrial or related field), or Business, Economics, or a related discipline with strong experience in infrastructure, mobility, utilities, or energy.
-
5+ years of relevant experience in EV charging, energy, utilities, infrastructure projects, digital products, product engineering, or program and operations management.
-
Proven experience implementing complex, multi-stakeholder programs with limited guidance, preferably across multiple countries or regions.
-
Strong project management skills, including planning, prioritization, risk management, and stakeholder alignment.
-
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Connected Services, Facilities, GPSC, Finance, Legal, Customer Care, and external partners.

Strong analytical skills with experience building, tracking, and interpreting business cases, KPIs, and operational performance metrics.

Proven relationship-building skills across different cultures, organizational levels, and external stakeholders.

High level of ownership, resilience, creativity, and comfort with ambiguity, combined with a hands-on mindset to move from concept to execution.

Strong communication skills in Portuguese and English, both oral and written. Spanish is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience in one or more of the following: digital-product operations, EV charging, energy solutions, marketplace or platform business models, mobility partnerships, or commercial project management in a cross-functional environment.

Experience with EV charging-app or charging-network integration.
-
Experience with eMSP/CPO commercial models, payment flows, and data-sharing agreements.

Experience with multi-country South America rollout planning and stakeholder management.

Familiarity with EV customer journey, dealer charging, charging hardware and services, and regional market benchmarking.

Experience preparing executive-level materials, scorecards, and business updates for leadership reviews.

Key Interfaces
This role will work closely with Product Planning, Marketing, Sales, Connected Services, Engineering, GPSC, Finance, Legal, Government Relations, Customer Care, and external charging ecosystem partners to translate strategy into executable plans, monitor performance, and continuously improve EV charging operations across GMSA.
