Overview
Lead and sustain the Joining and Dimensional processes for the Body Shop to ensure the body structure is built safely, on time, and to specification, with robust welding/joining performance, stable dimensional quality, fast containment of issues, and effective implementation of corrective actions in production and continuous improvement activities.
What will you do (Responsibilities):
- Lead the technical follow-up of welding and joining performance in Body Shop. Monitor process behavior, investigate NOKs and defects, define containment, and coordinate corrective actions with Production, Maintenance and Quality.
- Monitor dimensional results and key plant metrics, identify trends or mean shifts, lead root-cause analysis, and validate tooling, process, or part corrections required to recover performance.
- Lead or support cross-functional problem solving for Body Shop quality issues impacting weld integrity, dimensional variation, or downstream build quality. Escalate when needed and ensure owners, actions.
- Evaluate and support implementation of engineering, product, tooling, or process changes affecting joining or dimensional performance. Confirm changes are communicated, validated, and released without negatively affecting safety, quality, or throughput. Desired end result: controlled change implementation with no disruption to plant performance.
- Use plant systems, inspection results, and digital reports to track issues by area, robot, point ID, or station, and convert data into actionable priorities for the shop.
- Participate in regional meetings with other plants to share best practices, review common joining and dimensional issues, compare performance, and align action plans or technical standards when required. Desired end result: faster adoption of proven solutions, alignment across plants, and stronger regional technical collaboration.
Your skills and abilities (Required Qualifications):

Graduate Engineering (Industrial Engineering, chemical, electronic

2-3 years of experience in manufacturing, or engineering environments.

English level: Advanced.

Ability to follow detailed technical instructions.

Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Problem identification and analytical thinking capability.

Effective communication skills.
