What You Will Do?
We are seeking a temporary N6 Industrial Engineer to support General Motors de Mexico's Global Supply Chain (GSC) operations. This role will focus on optimizing processes, improving efficiency, and driving cost savings within our manufacturing and supply chain environments.
Job Responsibilities.
- Conduct BDP (Business Process Documentation) to analyze and document current operational procedures.
- Perform comprehensive Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA) for proposed process improvements and new initiatives.
- Apply GMS (Global Manufacturing System) principles to identify and eliminate waste, standardize work, and drive continuous improvement.
- Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to develop and deliver training on new processes and tools.
- Lead and participate in People Management activities related to project teams and operational changes.
- Ensure adherence to Procurement Procedures, identifying opportunities for efficiency and cost reduction in supply chain operations.
- Facilitate Value Stream Mapping (VSM) workshops to visualize and improve material and information flow.
- Design and optimize Workplace Design layouts to enhance ergonomics, safety, and productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and monitor their effectiveness.
- Prepare reports and presentations on project status, findings, and recommendations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Fluent in English
Job Qualifications.
- Proficiency in Workplace Design methodologies and tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) for training development and delivery.
- Demonstrated abilities in People Management, including team leadership and stakeholder engagement.
- Familiarity with Procurement Procedures and their impact on supply chain efficiency.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
