Description
Lead and support material readiness activities for annual, new, and major vehicle programs by coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring timely MRD part readiness, managing new vehicle order processes, and driving escalation of unresolved issues. This role plays a key part in strengthening Assembly Plant readiness, ensuring material availability visibility, supporting launch reviews, and advancing continuous improvement initiatives.
Activities:

Develop and review program specific plans encompassing Assembly Plant tasks
-
Verify orders and material requirements are issued to all suppliers
-
Communicate program requirements to suppliers
-
Communicate to Purchasing parts requiring contracts, prioritized by build events
-
Identify suppliers that are not EDI Certified, provide details to OpenText and send out letters to Suppliers.

Create shortage reports to identify material exceptions and follow-up with respective suppliers and program teams.

Facilitate communication between functional stakeholders

Assist in resolving any Assembly Plant identified material issue s

Publish Material Availability “Status Report” for Assembly Plants
-
Collaborate with Material Launch Manager on status of parts for MRD for PQRR meetings and communicate within Global Supply Chain (GSC). issues.
Required Qualifications:
-
2 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, purchasing, or manufacturing (any internship or co-op experience will not be considered)

Ability to work independently and self-directed

Ability to build positive relationships with demanding cross-functional stakeholders

Professional interpersonal verbal and written communication skills

Strong analytical ability to solve complex problems

Experience utilizing Excel
Preferred:

Bachelors Degree

Experience with Databricks, PowerBI or related

Experience with Google Sheets
