Orion Assembly was retooled to build EVs in 2020. It is being transitioned to produce the Chevrolet Silverado EV and GMC Sierra Denali EV.

Factory ZERO, formerly known as Detroit-Hamtramck Assembly, is GM's first fully dedicated electric vehicle assembly plant. The facility produces a variety of electric trucks and SUVs.

Opened in 2006, Lansing Delta Township builds the GMC Acadia, Buick Enclave, and Chevrolet Traverse. An onsite stamping plant supplies multiple GM facilities and brands.

Toledo Propulsion Systems manufactures transmissions and drive units for a variety of GM vehicles. The site was the first GM U.S. propulsion manufacturing facility to be transformed for EV related production.

Fort Wayne Assembly builds light-duty Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra pickup trucks.

Tonawanda builds engines for GM trucks and SUVs as well as the Chevrolet Corvette. Opened in 1938, the site originally produced 6-cylinder engines and axles for Chevrolet vehicles. During World War II, Tonawanda built 14- and 18-cylinder aircraft engines.
